Norwich Bike, Trike, and Scooter Show
Sunday 1st June 2008
Noon tilL 7 pm
The show was held at the Boundary Public House, Aylsham Road, Norwich and raised money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
I was asked by Lou (landlady) to take my Supertwin Top Gas drag bike, Tilly III, to the show. We put Tilly inside the pub on the stage - a nice little spot.

With that done we parked the Transit and set off for the show, it made a change not to travel hundreds of miles at a weekend, instead it was a 5 minute walk (if that).
From mid day bikes started to arrive, I was very pleased and a little shocked at how many were rolling in cos although it was a dry day it was overcast, and I know this can make a difference. Obviously not today - they just kept coming. At around 3ish it was getting harder and harder to find parking spaces and it's a big pub.

Inside music was taken care of by DJ Tonic and the Rum Brothers - a damn fine job they made of it.
In the Beer Garden there were loads of stalls, a BBQ, a bouncy castle and of course the custom show. There were some very nice bikes, trikes and scooters on show but, as always, there were some very nice bits of kit in the Car/bike park!

What a chilled out day, walking about with a beer, taking photos and chatting with friends, some of whom I haven't seen for years.

It remained overcast but stayed dry with is the main thing. The Beer Garden was very relaxed, there were people sitting chatting, drinking and eating and their children were having a wale of a time on the bouncy castle, swings and slide. However, I did enjoy sitting out the front watching the bikes arrive and leave and of course people watching (which is always good fun).

I think it was a huge success and a lot of people had a lot of fun, not bad for a show that was first advertised three weeks ago! Well done to Lou and her lovely staff and everybody else that helped.

The show raised £1065 for the Air Ambulance and Sarah raised more than £300 for her breast cancer appeal - I love Boobies.

At the end of a very enjoyable day Dayna is happy to show off the Sunday Club Salute whilst being held by Daddy Pascal.

So same time next year - NOW that's more than three weeks notice!!
